Even though we are in lockdown, the world is upside down and everyone is living in a state of inertia, we at Mooshki and Grace Philips are still planning our trip to the USA in September. Last time we were there in January, we first went to LA and then flew down to Dallas. Dallas is our new favourite place! We had this vision of Texas being so hot all year round; how wrong we were. It was freezing and we didn’t have our big coats! However, Dallas is such a lovely city and we will be visit again.
The dates for our trip in the Fall will be:
New York 17th – 20th September
Dallas 24th – 27th September
Los Angeles 1st – 4th October
We always plan our trips well in advance to make sure we are able to bring all the dresses that our brides request. We always bring Sarah, Poppy and Primrose, our American brides love these styles. But we also go through your requests and bring as many of them as possible. We also bring some Grace Philips dresses and our Occasionwear too. Getting these all packed is no mean feat! The bags we use to transport our dresses would fit Vikki inside quite easily
When we visited LA at the end of January, we stayed in a beautiful house which allowed us to really a House of Mooshki. Complete with afternoon tea, our visiting brides and their friends and families all had a lovely time. We made sandwiches, cakes and a selection of scones which were served the proper way with jam and cream.
When you come and see us, regardless of whether its New York, Dallas or LA, the welcome is the same and the process is the same. We discuss your dress ideas and then design your own unique style. You will also receive a an illustration of your chosen design while you watch. This is then rolled up and you will have officially graduated from House of Mooshki!
