Our style is cute, vintage and modern with a twist. It’s what you know us for and what our brides like. The 1950s are a constant source of inspiration for us and many other designers. It was such a feminine decade for fashion and we use many elements of the designs from that era to influence our modern wedding dresses.
One specific fabric has become a signature of a Mooshki wedding dress: spot tulle. It’s one of our favourite fabrics and adds a quirky and girly look to many a dress. Call it what you like, polka dot, swiss dot, spot net…it just works.
We try and add a couple of new spotty dresses with each collection because it is so adored. One of our most famous dresses, Claire, combines the spot tulle with lace applique for extra Mooshki elegance. Claire has a bateau neckline and short cap sleeves with a lower scooped back. The lace applique is scattered across the spot tulle and throughout the skirt giving a little bit of texture.

Based on the sort of couture gowns you might see in The Marvellous Mrs Maisel or in an old Hollywood movie such as Rear Window, Delphine has a retro glamour to her design. Shown in oyster with a rushed spot tulle overlay, she is a strapless dress with a single bow to the waist. To add depth to the skirt, we used two layers of spotty tulle on the bodice and skirt. We also dropped the waistline slightly which is good trick to create a nipped in waist.

If you love spotty tulle and the dress you love doesn’t use it, we can always add it to a bespoke dress. In the past, we have designed Poppy, Leonora and even Charlotte with a layer of polka dot. By going bespoke, you create a dress that is unique to you and your wedding day. It becomes something even more special to cherish for years after.
