Bethany travelled down to our County Durham studio from Glasgow when she first came to see us. As we always say, a Mooshki bride will travel. We have seen brides from as far away as New Zealand and California at our studio so Scotland is practically next door!
As with all initial consultations, we discussed Bethany’s day and what she would have planned. It’s an important thing to check as sometimes what a bride has planned doesn’t work with the dress she wants to wear. After trying on several dresses, we arrived at the final decision, Vera in tea length.

Vera is shown in long on our website and has a 2 metre train. She’s a very classic wedding dress and very Mooshki too. However, in tea length, Vera is the cutest wedding dress. Using a wide corded lace edging trimmed up into appliqués, these were scattered across the skirt and the wide edging went around the hem. This is all placed over an antique spot tulle which adds depth and a totally vintage twist to the dress.

“I just wanted to email to show you some of my professional picture of my fab mooshki dress. I cannot speak highly enough of all you guys. From my first meeting with Phil’s sketch (which is in its own wee frame now) to my last visit with Nana mooshki to get my veil and collect – she is such a lovely lady. I wore Vera in vanilla, ivory lace on top and a blush belt. Thank you so much for giving me a wedding dress I feel like I was born to wear. You made me feel amazing on one of the happiest days of my life, I am so grateful.”
