Vintage 1950’s inspired lace and tulle short tea length wedding dress

One of the first dresses we ever designed and the dress that catapulted us into the vintage tea length market. Named after our then designer Olivia, this dress actually started life as a long ballgown. There was something we couldn’t quite put our finger on and we cut the skirt short and so our love of short dresses began. she is a vintage 1950s inspired lace and tulle short tea length wedding dress with a high neck mandarin collar, keyhole back details and long illusion sleeves. The bodice has a sweetheart neckline with tulle and lace appliqué. The tulle then follows up to the neckline where more lace is appliquéd to the dress and across the shoulders leading into long sleeves. The cuffs of the sheer tulle sleeves have matching lace appliqué.

The skirt is layers of tulle over a satin underskirt for added volume. The dress is a modern knee length or tea length wedding gown which inspires brides of today looking for a modern vintage twist to their day. if you adore the original Olivia dress then you therefore may also be interested in Grace and Blossom.
