Olivia – Vintage 1950s Lace and Tulle Short Tea Length Wedding Dress

Olivia holds a special place in our story. One of the first dresses in our very first collection. She’s the gown that catapulted us into the vintage tea length market. Named after our then designer Olivia, she actually started life as a long ballgown — but there was something we couldn’t quite put our finger on. So we cut the skirt short, and our love of short dresses began.

Olivia is a vintage 1950s-inspired lace and tulle short tea length wedding dress.  A high-neck mandarin collar, keyhole back detail and long illusion sleeves. The bodice features a sweetheart neckline with tulle and lace appliqué. Tulle rises to the neckline where more lace appliquéd across the shoulders. Long sleeves, with matching lace appliqué at the sheer tulle cuffs. The skirt is layered tulle over a satin underskirt for beautiful added volume. Available as a modern knee length or tea length gown, Olivia continues to inspire brides looking for a modern vintage twist on their day.

If you adore the original Olivia, you may also love Grace and Blossom. Like every House of Mooshki gown, Olivia comes with our customised inner 24-boned bodice to enhance shape, and is available in Blush, Vanilla, Apricot and Champagne — plus an array of other colours on request. She can also be made in customisable lengths from tea, calf, pencil (calf and long), full length without train, fit-n-flare, mermaid, fishtail and hi-low. Contact us or your nearest stockist for options.
