You may have seen us sharing some mood boards on our social media channels this week. We make these boards to combine all our inspirations in one place and then they get pinned to the design wall in Mooshki HQ.
When we design a collection, its a process. Oh, is it a process! It starts right after the most recent collection has been shown to prospective buyers and takes several months to come to fruition. Vikki sources fabric and together we build mini collections into each collection. These collections consist of around 30-35 new dresses which come from anywhere between 100-200 designs that Phil sketches out. These designs are then whittled down to become the basis for the whole collection.
It’s rare that a design ends up the same in dress form. Laces are combined to create something completely different a lot of the time. Our collections are slightly different to other designers’ collections because we don’t discontinue a style. This means that previous collections can influence current collections to work as a whole.
Rosie was part of our 2016 collection but works well side by side with Dolores from our 2020 collection. Tap on the links below to see how they work together.

Frances and Sylvia are vastly different styles but are cut from the same cloth, literally. Sylvia’s train is intricately beaded to sparkle as you walk and the lace itself has a metallic thread woven throughout to give a subtle shimmer. See them both below

We are finalising the 2021 collection during this apparently endless lockdown so we will be bringing you snippets of each dress in due course. It’s always nerve-wracking to release a collection but it’s also one of the most exciting parts of the process and we look forward to sharing this with you. Keep checking our social media channels on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest and you will see everything unfold.
