We offer a full couture service for brides at our HQ in County Durham. Here you will find the whole Mooshki collection as well as some exclusive wedding dresses only we know about! Brides travel from as far away as New Zealand to come and see us to design their own dress so here’s an insight into what to expect when you come to see us.
First, take your shoes off! We work on dresses all over the place so it keeps dust to a minimum. It also makes your consultation more relaxed too and we have comfy slippers to wear. That’s our only rule. We then sit on the sofa and discuss your wedding, what you have planned and what limitations that may present with your chosen dress. We once had a bride who wanted a HUGE train but also wanted to arrive on horseback – it was never going to end well!
Then we start trying dresses. Mooshki brides always know the styles they love and we suggest styles too. Every dress can be customised; what’s short can be long, what’s long can be short. If you want a sleeve, you can have one, if you want your neckline covering, we can do that too. One thing for certain is that the dress will be perfect for you – we are always honest with what suits you and is the correct shape for you. The dress you choose may be a combination of several styles. So we sketch up your dress there are then! You may have seen us do this on our New York trunk show videos. This allows you to visualise your gown straight away. We then formally design your dress and email it to you. It really is as simple as that!
