Ordering System
On completion of your consultation and confirmation to us that you wish to proceed, your design will be developed within one week (unless advised from bridal consultant that there is a backlog);
Initial deposit payment is to be made once you have received designs and you have approved them.
Your wedding dress can be ordered anytime but you should think about around 7/8 months before your wedding, although due to our manufacturers being able to deliver a lot faster than the average bridal shop, this can be left a little later, at around 3-5 months. (Dresses need to be paid for before ordering);
Dress Arrival – Our current turnaround time is around 8-12 weeks. Your dress will arrive and you will be advised of this and booked in for a fitting. Sometimes or turnaround times may change depending on backlogs and may be subject to change.
If you require any alterations done to your dress that is not on the original design or that you have lost weight/gained weight then the cost of these will be bore by you the client.
Pregnancy during our ordering process is a stressful and nerve wracking time for all parties involved due to each party not knowing how the bride will grow. Although every effort will be made to keep the same design that was originally signed off sometimes design changes may need to be brought into play. We will ask for the seams to have extra allowance in order for the dress to have the capability to be taken out however, House of Mooshki will not bear the cost of this.
Measurements & Maintaining Size
Your dress will be made to exact measurements that are taken or supplied to us at the time of ordering. Your weight MUST be maintained and this is the responsibility of the bride and not us. Dresses can be taken in we have little room to take a dress out.
When measuring – keep in mind heel height and measure with either the shoes you will be wearing on your wedding day, or similar height – as dresses can be taken up, but not down. Please follow the instructions on the measurement chart carefully.
Alteration fees are not included in the price of the dress.
Payment System
A deposit will be requested at the start of the process. The amount of this will be dependent on the amount of products you are having designed. This deposit is the design fee;
There are a number of different options for you to take in order to pay for your gown but all gowns must be paid in full before the order for the dress will be ordered.
- 1. Initial deposit, 50% of remainder of the payment upon receipt of invoice, and remaining 50% before submission of order.
- 2. Initial deposit, 4 or 6 months interest free credit. This is to be done by standing order set up from your bank account. An email confirming the amount, start and end date will be required from your bank.
- 3. Initial deposit then remainder before submission of order.
Cancellations
THERE ARE NO CANCELLATIONS – once you have ordered your gown there is no option to cancel as work has started immediately on your dress. You must be 100% certain you are happy with the designs. You can adjust anything on your design right up until we confirm the order with our manufacturer;
If your wedding is put back or cancelled, unfortunately your dress still has to be bought as it has started to be made.
If you start the design process and then change you mind and cancel the design, a £100 cancellation fee is payable.
Re-designs
If after your designed has been signed off, you decide you want to develop new designs then a secondary design fee will be added to your overall invoice.
Refund & Exchange Policy
We currently operate a No Refund & Exchange policy – once you have ordered there is no option to refund or exchange. (Your order would be emailed immediately in order to put you in the manufacturer’s pipeline and so that the master pattern cutter can develop your design). Your dress is made to your measurements and therefore cannot be sold on to recoup costs.
All brides on moving forward with our design services must read this document. On confirming your design and order to us by email you are therefore accepting these terms and conditions.
